Comfortable,well equipped and exceptional value.
The house is at the neck of a fir tree lined valley. Really peaceful yet only minutes from the ski resort. We went in the summer to look for a house of our own and were enchanted by the glorious countryside. One of Europe's largest lakes is only minutes away allowing boating, fishing walking & picnics! All this and only 50 minutes from the capital and the airport. we were met by a local man who was tremendously helpful.
Bad Points
Samokov, the local town, is in parts a bit 'eastern bloc' but that's the only down side!
General Comments
Borovets, Borovets House - Overall we found this chalet to be a haven of tranquility yet close to the famous ski resort (15 minutes away).
Plenty to do for all the family all year round.
We'd reccommend it to anyone.
