This scooter has incredible power in any transmission mode. It is so smooth, you feel like you're in a Mercedes! The storage is beyond belief. Everything is well done except the windshield and buttbumper. LED is easy to see albeit the speedometer is off by 10%.
Buttbumper or rest is too far foward even all the way back. You have to get a Clearview or Givi windshield to avoid wind buffeting. Handling on the highway and roads is top notch and the power is all encompassing.
This Suzuki Burgman 650 is an extraordinary scooter. It sounds like a jet engine when winding down. Dethrottling causes a lot of slow down which you get used to rather quickly. It has about every convenience that could be thought of. Even the "small" side cubby holes in front are deep and large. I haven't even opened the locking glove box yet. The storage area under the seat is big enough to put a small child, but don't! I also have a 52 liter Givi storage trunk on the back and that is enormous. My previous scooter, a Helix clone, can't compare and it is a barcalounger. Put it in the power mode at a stop light and hold on to your toupee because otherwise it will be gone with the wind. The handling on the highways, interstates, and the roads is just so easy compared to most scooters, you can't even describe it, you have to test drive one to understand. I bought a used Burgman with 10,200 miles on it. It feels brand new!
