Clear sight picture, Illuminated reticle, price, build quality.
Free mounts are poor, is a little heavy.
After seeing this Walther 3-9x56 IR scope advertised I decided I must have one. The scope has a very good spec with illuminated reticle, 3-9 times zoom, 56mm lens and free mounts! All for around £55 from a well known manufacturer. It seemed like the offer was too good to be true and for once it wasn't. When I recived the scope I also found that the scope was covered by a lifetime guarantee! I mounted the scope and tried to zero it. This is when I found out the scopes only fault. The mounts that were supplied free were very poor and didnt match the quality of the scope. I wouldn't recommend you use the free mounts but buy a pair of good quality ones. After fitting new mounts I found this scope to be excellent. The sight picture was very clear throughout the magnification range and the illuminated cross hairs work great in low light. The build quality of the scope was typically German. Built to last! but quite heavy. Overall I am very pleased with my new scope and would reccomend it to anyone!
