Good Points

Sheer space, oddment storage, fuel economy, dealer service, driving position.


Bad Points

Hard, choppy ride at low speed, wallowing ride at higher speeds especailly when fully loaded. Engine torquey but coarse.


General Comments

I've only had this Hyundai Trajet GSi TD diesel people carrier for a short time, but so far I am mightily impressed - one gets a lot of car for the money. It's true that the interior plastics look cheap, but it's all rather durable (mine is nearly 3 years old with 24k miles on the clock). The driving position is good, although on long journeys I drive without shoes becuase of the pedal placement. I have back trouble and the seat is among the very best for my back.

I love the flexibility of the seating arrangement.

The fuel economy on my diesel manual is good, with a long trip returning 43.8 mpg without any trouble.
