The strong points are the automatic transmission, digital dash with outside temp, average speed, max speed, 2 trip odometers, service intervals, voltage meter, mpg, very good lighting, integrated front and rear disk brakes, comfortable seat, 48 mpg fullthrottle around Atlanta 56 mpg highway on its 4.49 gal tank. 2 cops on parked Harleys commented on how quiet it was. It handles well on the Georgia Dragon (Ga 180)(and for that matter on THE Dragon). It is sort of a poor man's Goldwing at $6k.

General Comments
The 2003 Aprilia Atlantic 500 Scooter has 6337 miles on the 460cc Piaggio Single cylinder, four stroke, liquid cooled, SOHC, 4 valves per cylinder engine. Top speed 98-103 mph. You can add Rumble Road speakers http://www.mhinstruments.com/products/ combined with the Boostaroo amplifier http://www.boostaroo.com/store_category.php4 make Steppenwolf sound good up to 70 mph. The cruise control and the Laminar Lip plus the 48-56 mpg make for a nice trip.
