General Comments

My partner and I stayed in the Carina studios for a week in may 2005. First impressions were great. nice room, great food, great entertainment. There were a few little bad things. If you are going to this hotel in the future, always watch you change from the food. If you have ordered food from the menu and then afterwards when the staff bring you your bill. watch the bill because whilst we were there they added a couple of drinks on extra to get more money of you! and they did it to other people to as we saw it happen.
Also never sleep naked because the maids have it in them to not even knock before they open the doors. It happened to me and my partner whilst we were erm...... say no more!!!!!!!!
Also this goes for all over Turkey. Never ever touch the centipedes that work around everywhere. They have a huge spike on their bottoms and they are extremely dangerous!!! or so say the staff at the carina studios!!! The staff are generally nice including Roberto and Antonio and the manager who has a bald head and glasses and he always dances around with a microphone in his hand!!!! The pool is great. Must also warn you. Try your utter best to get a ground floor room because they stuck us on the top floor and it is very very tiring once you get to the top!!! Also for all your social drinkers out there, the staff are told to keep the bar open until all the guests are gone. So if you fancy staying by the bar till 6am. go for it !!! THEY REALLY DON'T MIND. The view of the sunset is great and there is a man who takes your picture and makes the ladies do very dramatic poses. At the end of the night you would have had about 60 pictures taken (but don't worry, you don't have to buy them) Overall the carina studios is a fantastic hotel and we would defiantly go back to them!!!!!!! In fact we are in September this year!!! ooo I can't wait

    You are so totally right. i'm not sure about the change thing or the maids not knocking, but the bald man who dances round with the microphone. he was so there. i dont know roberto and antonio. i had jimi and ozzy, and then there was ricki and sean as the like bar managers. also the photograph man, he was really cool. also, i liked staying on the top floor. you had a great view of the bar area and the pool (i mainly liked it though because i fell in love with one of the waiters and i could always see him.) Also again, did you not find you got used to the stairs in the end? I quite liked them by the end. if i got to the top without being tired i was proud of myself.
