Dealerbid www.dealerbid.co.uk Review

I wanted to sell my Honda S2000 as I had placed an order for a new car. A friend of mine advised the best thing to do is negotiate the best deal possible on the car I am buying by not part exchanging and then to sell my car privately. I phoned the dealer who I originally purchased the S2000 from and they gave me a figure. Dealerbid advised that the vast majority of their clients are other motor dealers and that although I could not expect to get a "retail price" for my car I could expect the best bid throughout the UK car dealer network via their contacts with main dealers and specialists. Sure enough within 24hrs they had contacted me 3 times with bids increasing each time. In the end I accepted what became the highest bid (£600 more than the dealer I bought the car from). They arranged for the dealer to contact me, arrange collection and paid by bankers draft. I guess if I had the time and a list of every main dealer and a few specialists I could have done what they did myself but they charge nothing so what's the point.... thanks guys.
