Good Points
Good Points imediately is the Speed this bike gets to in such short time. The older cr's like my 1985 model you see in the main page "im mick" are dirt cheap to pick up (if you can find one). They look as good as the newer models in my eyes. Better seats than the newer ones too. I dont like skinny seats.

Bad Points
Bad Points is there isn't really many of them for sale - not that there isn't many of them its just no1 wants to get rid of them why they are working but when you try to find parts for them it can be a real task and very costly. my cylinder barrel cost me £100 to replace, either that or £140 for a reline. They tend to crack their casing and the gearbox often, allowing water to seep in and cause allsorts of problems. other than problems because of age if you look after your bike it will cost you just as much as a new bike would cost to maintain and run.

General Comments
I've had 3 cr 125's at year's 84, 85, and 85 the 84 model was different to the 85's but ran just as well and just as fast. All my cr's I bought had problems and was not working but with perseverance some savings and distance to travel for parts I got them all running and what a wow factor on the speed the went.

The picture you see as illustration for cr's on the main review page is mine, I bought this from e-bay believe it or not for £130. it need's a cylinder barrel that's costing me £100 but that's it, it will stand me around £250 lets say with bits. another sold not long back for £380 with a leaking crankcase (none runner) so bargain I got did I (Jedi talk) Cant wait get this monster going, I'm 5ft 11 - and both my feet don't touch the ground on it. Be very careful what is wrong with a cry if you are going to buy one, it could be costly in the long run.

Anyhow there's places to take your bikes if you have transport and a trailer - google "MXTRACKS" but at a cost may I had. Anyhow keep the old cr's going people - they beat a lot of the new one's still to this day :)
