Heats up to a really high temp - the handle is almost to hot to hold
Smells of burning sometimes

General Comments
I bought SCP Solid Ceramic Professional 100% Ceramic Hair Straighteners over christmas and when they finally arrived they worked ok for the first few weeks. I began to then notice a burning smell, and the straighteners were heating up too much, i think the thermostat may be broken on them. I did email the website i got them from (the official SCP one) and they never responded, rubbish straighteners in the long term.
