Good picture quality, recording and general reception, cheap.
Fussy about what it plays, very slow to load, too many features to learn how to use
The Toshiba DR1 takes a long time to learn how to use it, the features probably are useful and impressive if you have the time. Like another reviewer I have had problems getting it to play discs every time, it seems to depend on the day of the week.... Also my BBC2 reception is covered in red and green stripes.
