Good Points

Walkabout Rentals delivered campervan to our hotel , they were very helpful and arranged ferry bookings and nice vehicle. only 4 days rain


Bad Points

Only 3 weeks in New Zealand , really windy in Wellington and ferry crossing very rough, they told us the night time is normally calmer as there is less wind.


General Comments

Hi All, Had a fabulous time in New Zealand, a great country to visit, the South Island is totally different to the North Island. We spent 3 weeks in new Zealand not enough!!!(We needed 5 weeks to see everything) We hired a campervan from Walkabout Rentals a 5 berth, what a nice Luxury rv, it had everything. We started off from Auckland and went to top of N.I where the sandy beaches are, and went to rotorua and coromandel, nice places, walkabout advised they could arrange the cheapest ferry crossing for us as there are two shipping companies which was arranged at a really cheap price. We ended up in Queenstown and wanaka and te anau for about a week what a beautiful place -love NZ we are coming back to see your nice country !!!
