Abid Hussain.'s Review of Crosman 338

Good Points

A very cheap co2 pistol, it is an excellent value for money pistol. The pistol is a semi-automatic action.

Bad Points

The gun is heavy and too big to handle (especially if you have small hands).

General Comments

I was very pleased with the Crosman 338 pistol as it is the cheapest co2 pistol money can buy. You will get about 100 shots from the co2 cannister.

It is a 20 shot .177 BB rapeater, with very accurate target shooting facility.

I was not very keen on the size & weight of the pistol. It is hard to handle if you have small hands, as the pistol is big and heavy.

Abid......if you think the 338 is big and heavy then don't buy a Smith&Wesson 586 6in. which I also have.
I get an average of 72 shots with my 338 which shows the differences that can occur between valving systems even on the same models.
Another great-value CO2 pistol is the Makarov. It's build quality would surely have had the builders of Mallard drooling.
