General Comments

Having booked my cruise I then read some reviews where a point was raided re disembarkation, i.e. you were required to leave the ship at 9.30a.m. On day of disembarkation, and as my flight home was not until late afternoon, I was unhappy that I would have to spend some 6-7 hours at the airport. I then took this matter up with my Travel Agent, who investigated the point, and told me 'that is just how it is!'I allowed this point to cloud my judgement for the first couple of days, but need not have worried because this was not the case. Travel Agents should be made aware of what the disembarkation procedure really is and so alleviate any worry prospective passengers may have.
I found the ship very friendly, clean and comfortable, cabin staff extremely helpful, although Restaurant staff somewhat over zealous at clearing away tables. One was not encouraged to linger over dinner.
The entertainment was low key but not well timed if you were on late sitting at dinner, the shows were pre-dinner, and whilst there was a wonderful trio who played nightly in the Charleston Club, you arrived there just in time for their last rendition, and this was followed by a disco, what a pity such a wonderful trio could not have been heard by more people. On the day spent at sea there was no entertainment, it would have been nice to sit on deck and listen to this trio instead of piped music. Other than the aforementioned, I would be happy to recommend this ship to those who want a quiet time at sea.
