The Dimage 7i at 5 megapixels produces excellent quality digital pictures that can be printed effortlessly at 8"x10".
The autofocus is quick with a superb flash and has all the features I requires as a previous owner of a Minolta Dynax SLR.
This is a lightweight but sturdy camera and the 7 x optical zoom is a must, essentially giving a 28-200mm equivalent zoom range.
Must have a spare set of 1850 NiMh batteries to hand as this camera is thirsty for power, but if you have these spare, there are no issues.
I cannot speak highly enough of this Minolta Dimage 7i digital camera and I am now a digital convert. The quality of pictures is outstanding and the ease of taking exceptional pictures has found me clicking at basically anything that moves. The 7x zoom is a must have and the feature rich content of this camera has me eager to push it to its limits... which may take some time!
