Good Points

Excellent sound and intonation.
Large leadpipe results in a more open feel.
Excellent fit and finish.
Manufacture overseen by Zig Kanstul.

General Comments

See summary.Kanstul 1504 is a free blowing horn with rich, full sound and excellent intonation in all registers. Works well in a band or symphonic setting as well as for lead and small group jazz. Leadpipe slightly larger than other Kanstul Signature Series horns makes for a more open feel. Excellent fit and finish. Manufactured under the watchful eye of Zig Kanstul, one of the legends of the brass instrument industry.
