General Comments

Universal Mediterranea Resort, Port Aventura - What a place!!!! The park is fanastic with rides for all ages including the young ones (I went with my 3 year old and 15 month twins and they loved it!). Woody Woodpecker and friends are great and my 3 year old wouldn't leave them alone but they were very patient! The new ride Hurricane is brill but can take a while to get on so I would recommend that as soon as you arrive in the park, head straight for that one. The shows are great, especially the Can Can show and the Chinese magical ones. The stunt show was slightly disappointing but still fun. You can also hire single/double buggies which was great as my 3yr old found it hard going with all the walking. Firework display was out of this world and worth a see.

We stayed in the Port Aventura Hotel which was great as entry to the park and water park was there. You also get admission into the park included which is actually an express card so you get on all the big rides within minutes. This is well worth it as you could see people queing for an hour and this was in may. The hotel is extremely clean and the food is really nice with plenty of choice. Entertainment team are good but it does end about 10.30pm at night which suited us though. The only thing we found was that especially at weekends a lot of Spanish people would be there for a few days and they don't tend to be quiet!

All in all a great holiday and we are planning to return next year!
