General Comments

I owned a 2001 Acura Integra GS Sports Car (United States) for around 2 years before I totaled it. It was automatic (was a gift, I would have chosen manual) and red.

The car was fast for 140hp and 2750 lbs. But this was before the huge 'horsepower war' that is currently going on in America. 140hp was good in my opinion but now there are family sedans with almost 300hp. The acceleration with Automatic was only average. The styling was also good for the time. But again, around 2000-2002 the entire car market changed in terms of power and styling. The Acura RSX (replacement to the Integra) is much more modern looking.

This car is easily upgradable because there are many aftermarket parts that can be found on the internet. It is built by the Japanese so it is reliable. It has good fuel economy which is really important in the States right now and it can be found really cheap used.

The ride is a little rough compared to the Scion tC and RSX, but I really enjoyed the seats. They truly are sport seats, the leather is really soft, and the interior controls are simple.

I would recommend this car to anyone who finds the RSX styling too 'girly' and anyone who just wants a nice import tuner.
