Graphics, Sound effects, entertaining and addictive.
Difficulty in later races and controls.
Along with Ridge Racer, this game is the best looking PSP title so far. In fact, it might look slightly better than Ridge Racer when you take into account the special effects (race craft exploding, missles, mines.) It is a thing of beauty.
The music is ok, but I turn it off. The sound effects are amazing though, espcecially with the headphones. You can almost feel the explosions and the sense of excitement increases as you hear race craft gaining on you.
The tracks are well designed, the backgrounds are highly detailed, and the weapons are clever.
The gameplay is addicting and rewarding when you win a race because you actually have to work for it. Some of the later levels are frustrating, but when you finally complete them you will have a sense of accomplishment.
You can play wirelessly with up to seven other players, but they have to be in your vicinity. I am sure that soon you will be able to play people from other areas.
I can't wait to see what later games look since this launch title looks so detailed. This game is worth the money for sure. I recommend it to everyone.
