Bad Points

THE FOOD! And the location isnt 'all that'!

General Comments

Hostmark Oriental Hotel:
First let me start, the resort itself is nice, it's all what you need-it's spacious and the staff and people around you are welcoming and friendly!

With our daughter off to her nannies for a week, we thought we would push the boat out and come to Egypt instead of going back to the canary islands!

We were paying for all-inclusive, so as soon as we arrived we decided to hit the food, we were disappointed at what we saw! (Let me re-phrase that, what we didn't see) We was expecting to see lots of different dishes and variety, but we didn't It was the same (more or less everyday)potatoes of some kind, a few pasta dishes, a fish dish, a beef dish, a chicken dish and vegetables for lunch AND dinner! What we did eat, I can't really fault, it was nice-just wasn't pleased there wasn't more variety of food! I think they tried to cater for everybody, (English, French, Dutch, Swiss, ETC) but with very little choice! The puddings were great-plenty of choice and decorated to perfection!

Oh did I mention that we got food poisoning too (may I add, NOT FROM THE HOTEL but a boat trip) but it did leave us petrified of eating any other meat at the hotel-not as though there was much choice anyway!

The location wasn't good either, there wasn't much to see or do! (we did speak to an English local, who said that they are about to start construction work opposite the hotel (which currently at the moment is just lots of land) there will be bars, nightclubs, shops, and a variety of different restaurants! which will liven the place up, when once up and running)

The beach is quite close (just a short little walk from your room) and has fantastic marine life! which any age group will love!

I would go back to Sharm El Sheikh, just probably not the Hostmark Oriental Resort! Things could be different if the food was better and in the future the area around the hotel was more built up!
Thanks for reading, thought I'd share my opinion!
