Very easy to drive (Drives like a supermini), reasonably cheap to run, reliable, plenty of rear seat space (5 door)
"Tinny" build quality, poor boot space, "gutless" engine, overlight steering.
The Honda HRV 1.6i 4x4 is a more sensible choice than it looks. HRV is easy to drive, cheap to run and reliable. Performance is only adequate unless you thrash the engine and the overlight steering spoils the handling. Electric folding mirrors are useful but a lack of options count against it as a new purchase (How about a sunroof and decent stereo).
