What good points? I have no idea since I never got a single thing I was charged for.

To me these people seem to be crooks!


General Comments

Dirty Hippo is a website that provides downloads of wallpapers and ringtones via subscription. The problem is - you don't have to subscribe for them to actually charge you. Yes, what your read was correct. They will charge you even if you don't subscribe! And when you try and contact them for a refund, you get the run around.

    I have also been charged by Dirty Hippo for services I did not request and the fact that they don't even have a phone number to contact them is ridiculous!

    My 12 downloaded ringtones he saw on MTV,3-4 months ago and I am still trying to get in touch with this company for a refund. I DO NOT have internet or text messaging,but company keeps billing my wireless telephone comapany. Yes this company has the right name DIRTY!!!!!!!

    I finally got my wireless company to track down a phone number, and they said they only got a voicemail and not a real person. Company or people like dirtyhippo needs to be put out of business, The name fits them well DIRTY hippo.

    dirtyhippo says it all. the hippo is the most dangerous creature on the planet and boy are they dirty. it is a no win situation. you go to their website and try to buy one ringtone and they don't even send it to you. on top of that, they continue billing your cell phone account (in my case: Cingular - who must be in league w/them) and you get nothing sent to your phone. each week they bill and every seven days, $1.99 + $1.99 + $1.99 + $7.99 + $7.99, etc and by the time you get the bill and get Cingular to stop allowing them to charge you, you have spent $30.00 or $40.00. as for me, I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business and call my Congress person. dirty dirty dirtyhippo, what a rip off.

    I have no idea how these people got my cell number I requested them to stop for 2 months now and I am still getting charged $9.99 per month on my wireless bill. And they had the nerve to change there name to Blinko with no number to call how dare they. I will report this to the better business bureau. Dirty Hippo, Blinko or whatever they call themselves is dirty.
