My phone was obviously damaged but the insurance had to be checked, double checked and sent away just to make sure


General Comments

I dropped my mobile and smashed the screen. I called the insurance number and they said just to take it in store. In store they somehow entered into the system that my phone had faulty software. The "system" in store then said I had to wait 72hrs for a written reply - a wasted journey. Then I received a reply saying that the insurance didn't cover problems that the manufacturer would -software. The shop couldn't tell me what info had been inputted to the system and neither would the insurance, so I had to appeal-(another 72hrs) more time wasting, then I had to go into the shop to send my phone away to be repaired, where eventually it was confirmed it could not be!!! - Very angry and frustrated customer.
