Good Points

This game contains over 30 large levels and many types of gameplay. It's online compatible, and you can order your soldiers with the headset. The missions are fun, interesting, and guarantee alot of competition.

Bad Points

Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm has not advanced much at all in the graphics compared to the first Ghost Recon, but it is still a great game.

General Comments

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Jungle Storm: For any gamer who likes first person shooters, enjoys commanding groups of people, or is a fan of Ghost Recon will love this title. Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm has not advanced much at all in the gameplay or graphics compared to the first Ghost Recon, but it is still a good game. It is pretty much the same as the first one but just different levels (over 30 levels). It is kinda like an expansion pack for the first one. Over all the game is pretty good. All though it does not excel in graphics, it has many levels and is very fun too play. I really did enjoy playing the game, and it is still in my game collection. It does have multiplayer off-line and online, and has several game types (Recon, Team Firefight, Team Coop, and Free for All). The game also has the group commanding gameplay type in the single player where you command your soldier (like in S.O.C.O.M.).
The game is also headset compatible so you can order your Alpha and Bravo teams with voice commands. The game is also more realistic then SOCOM for the reason that when you are giving orders the gameplay does not pause, so you have to keep shooting down the enemy even while you are yelling out commands. Even though the commands are a little detailed to learn, you will get them down after a few levels. Well, the last thing I got to say is that this game is not a waste of money to buy, and I guarantee if you like first person shooters or commanding soldiers then you will enjoy this game.

Why doesnt this game have realistic effects? i dont play it, but i have seen this being played, and if you are going to play a game where you kill people, then why not have it realistic? Have the people lieing there in a pool of there own blood screaming while they slowly die... you get the picture that it should be made realistic.

Well I guess the reason that they did not add all the extra realistic effects is because they just concentrated on developing the team command capability and also making the AI real smart. The Ghost Recon Series(as well as Medal of Honor and meny other games) don't specialize in the effects but more in the gameplay or story. But I know that the Ghost Recon 3 for XBOX 360 which I have seen pictures of definetly has great effects. And last of all if you want the whole reason then I dont have the answer because I didn't make the game, I just played it.
