Good Points
Fantastic white sandy beach. Bronze caravan was of a good standard and very clean. Holiday park clean with plenty for the kids to do.
Bad Points
Access to the beach very steep. Drinks expensive in the club.
General Comments
We went to Riviere sands last June through the Sun newspaper offer. We stayed five nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Whether we would have enjoyed it so much if the weather was bad I don't know as we spent every day down on the beautiful beach. Most nights we went to the showbar which has good entertainment for the kids but beware as you can spend an absolute fortune on drinks. My tip is to retire to the caravan quite early with a crate of beer!! We stayed in a bronze caravan which given its age was of a good standard and very clean. Take care though if you have a barbecue as the seagulls can be quite aggressive!! The pool is free but we were quite turned off by the fact that there were some sort of insects floating all over it!!
On the morning we left we went to the bluff Inn for breakfast and the queue was astonishing, most of the food had all gone and there was one very harassed chef working on his own to serve everybody. It took forever to get served and even then the food was sub standard.
However after all this complaining we are returning again this June for a week as the scenery and the beach absolutely make up for any in discrepancies at the holiday park.
