General Comments
I have had an Xclef HD-500 20GB Jukebox player for 8 months, tried the Creative Zen models for a change, resold on e-bay after 2 weeks. The reason? The sound is awful in comparison to a HD500, if you play anything with any bass it distorts badly. The HD500 can handle whatever you play, loud enough to make your ears bleed, and the sound quality does not even flinch. A friend has a 'trendy' i-pod, I have tried it, it too sounds tinny compared to the Xclef. Do yourself a favour if you are in the market for a MP3 player, with extras, buy the HD500, it's much cheaper than the 'trendy' ones, you will not regret it but your ears might.
