General Comments
Kathleen Woodiwiss, is a Rose in Winter romance novel set in 18th Century England tells the tale of an innocent girl, Erienne Fleming, sold on the block to the highest bidder. She becomes the wife of Lord Saxton, a mysteriously shrouded figure in black and all that she fears. Unable to escape her fate, Erienne is torn between her loyalty to her new husband and her growing love for the handsome Yankee sea captain, Christopher Seton.
