Reliable, Selection of Games, Ergonomics, Graphics.


General Comments

I got my Sony Playstation 2 about a year after the release. Personally, I have not had a problem with it besides a dirty lens. So from my experience, the system is very reliable. I have heard many stories about the unreliability of the Playstation 2, but I have been pleased. Of course, the PS2 has the BEST selection of games because it was released a year before the other systems. This resulted in a lack of graphical superiority. In my opinion though, the huge selection of games makes up for the shortfall in graphics. Sony has had a comfortable controller for a while. That is why they didn't feel a need to make a new controller for the PS2. I do own a PS2, GameCube, and XBox, and to be honest the PS2 is not my favorite. It is still a very reliable system, and I would recommend it to anyone.
