General Comments

Lexmark X1180:
Look no further if you are looking for a Multi-function printer. Yes the print speed is slow, but if you are after quality, this is what you get. A very good printer, which allows you to scan, print and fax via an internet connection. Can't ask for much more from a printer, This printer is half the price or less than than most expensive printers out there, and does just as good if not better than a lot of them. Highly recommended!.

I unfortunately have experience with one of these printers and have found them to be absolutely useless.

Printing is slow and of only moderate quality; ink cartridges are expensive and do not last particularly well but worst of all is the paper loading.

I have had two of these machines and the first one never so much as printed a single character. It dragged the paper in squew resulting in constant jamming. After protracted talks with Lexmark Tech Support, they told me to return it for a replacement.

Replacement is here and dragging the paper in by the right hand corner and jamming. Must admit, 50% of the time I will get a sheet to feed through and print, but who can be bothered to keep a machine which is so temperamental.

It drives me nuts.... never again......
