They DO sound good. The subwoofer can be a little boomy, but this seems to be popular so I guess it's a good point to some, bad to others.
NOWHERE NEAR loud, at 80 watts peak you would expect them to at least be halfway loud, wouldn't you?
Overall, the Logitech Z3 2.1 40W RMS are great speakers for a decent price. I wouldn't say they're perfect for the price, but I will say that they're worth the money.
