Gives a good idea of how a jet engine works, although not as well as the car engine model, but this is understandable as the jet is more complex than it appears.
Bad Points
Doesn't actually work, unlike the car engine model. In fact it's difficult to see how it could work and that the manufacturer doesn't know it doesn't work.
General Comments
Joustra - Jet Engine is disappointing after the excellent internal combustion engine model with moving parts. This model is designed to spin and make a jet engine sound. This is supposed to be accomplished using a small, hidden fan that directs air onto the model's large intake fan. The problems are many.
The little electric fan is too small to deliver enough air. The tube intended to carry the air to the jet's fan is too small and has 2 right-angle bends. (Too many restrictions). And the plastic bushes used as turbine bearings have too much friction to permit it to be turned by a tiny jet of air anyway.
