Good Points
Great phone

Bad Points
Can't find out how to download wav files and then use them as a ring tone, i.e. no idea what folder to download them to (I put one wav in the Windows folder on my phone but I can't see it when I try to choose a ringtone on the Setting function. Anyone know how?

General Comments
Needs better help on how to download files from the computer to your phone and then use them as a ringtone/background or whatever. HELP!

Have you tried phoning one of the techies at orange this is the only thing I can think of, or do a search for one of the ringtones when exploring your spv through activesync

I found out how to add your own sounds. Go to the Club Smartphone site at Mictrosoft and take a look:
http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/smartphone/club/support/support_question.asp?cid=2&tid=1&qid=1
or follow these steps:
1. Connect the Smartphone to your desktop computer by using a USB connection.
2. On your desktop computer, copy the sound file you want. The file format must be .wav or .mid.
3. In ActiveSync on your desktop computer, click Explore , double-click My Smartphone , double-click IPSM , double-click Application Data , double-click Sounds , and then paste the sound file into the Sounds folder.
Good luck!

Hi,
<br>I've recorded stuff that i moved to that folder and it still wouldn't play. To solve try opening the recorded .wav file in sound recorder (on a PC) and go to save as then change the format to PCM. Then move it to the Sounds folder (on Phone) as above and it should be an option as a ringtone.

<br>BTW I found a great web-site for help with the phone:
