General Comments

The Microsoft Xbox changed my life forever!! See, It was like this - My sister was getting a divorce. And.. Well - to cut a long story short: It turned my drab grey world into colours & vibrant sounds. I was bored being a sad `Nintendo fanboy` before, I needed something special in my life & then along came XBOX. It really rocked my world! If you buy the Xbox- maybe it`ll rock yours to! No more furry animals, or silly Mario when you got the Master Chief on your side! No sireee. I want to support Bill G fully in this venture and just admire him.. (from all different angles). I went to business school for a whole year just so I can back up something like the Xbox in the future.. I feel sorry for the people who don't own Xbox, what empty lives they must lead? - Here have mine!! Have mine !! Everybody should have Rainbow Six 3 tournaments and wear Halo T-Shirts and sport all the merchandise without washing it so this company lives forever `n` ever and takes over the world just like Coca Cola did !!! Long live XBOX, Yay! Xbox happily forever after.

Hey - This IS The most advanced games console in the world people.. like john hurt (the guy from the alien film) once said for the poor failed sega console (and all its fanboys) - "Lets all play together!".

Ughhh - seriously.. WITHOUT the fanboy syndrome, this is a great console, worth every penny. Dont regret buying it one bit.

So...smart guy. Nice review. It turned your life around? That is sweet. Didn't you mention that it had the best most powerful games ever? Okay...I might agree with most powerful...But the best? Nah. Not even close. Halo, Halo 2...I can't think of anymore. And, oh yeah! PS3 will play Halo 1-3. So, what is the point in keeping an Xbox? Just wait a year and buy the PS3. That is what I am doing. And you can play PS one and PS2 games on the PS3...will the Xbox 360 play Xbox games...? Nope. Sorry to ruin your "happy life" but the Xbox is going down.

Someone... downrated my masterpiece to -1 :-( and disagrees with.. erm.. something? Is it the sarcastic rubbish I wrote in 30 seconds or the fact that I don't regret buying Xbox?

...I... I think I don't regret buying it...? Maybe you disagree?

When I say this, I am not trying to be mean...but you are an odd person. Anyway, why do you write reviews? Just wondering, you never seem very serious about anything.

Xbox is going down you say? It never said that on the packet!! You lie, don't ever tell lies again !!

I`ve already had a wothwhile 1 & a half years out of Xbox Samus.. In actual fact, I didn't really pay for the thing or half my software collection (*shush , dont tell anyone). The company I work for did. So.. after I`ve scooped up all the secondhand Xbox titles & final offers..(along with staff reduction), I`ll just go get a new PC instead. Another free console of my choice will wing it`s way to me next year. This is the bit where I shrug my shoulders and look smug.

My reviews aren't serious or do you mean my comments? All my reviews are balanced perception of both consumer & retailer, (this one isn't- This is total BS). I like the fact that people have now checked the unhelpful box, don't mean to be pedantic but thats more like it.

Well, the verdict on this one`s "odd". I`m astounded that you know me so well samus after just reading my posts. Flattered that you managed to catagorize me as well as decide who the site is for. You got all that, from just this? Wow, you aren't psychic are you? I mean - that whole deep perception` thing you`ve got going on`s freaky. Obviously heaps of life experience to. You`re able to judge so quickly.. must be a great advantage on a review site, eh? How long did it take you to decide this time, 2 hours? - Or - "did your friend decide for you and I got the sympathy vote?" A shame things regress to childish name calling but... didn't expect anything else. Kids like you feel obligated to slate others reviews or disagree when you clearly know very little. Yet, when people do the same back on your reviews, you throw a little tantrum.

Yay! A system to end fanboy syndrone!!!!
    ....................................................................................................
Good job, dude. You also failed to compare value in money of the XBOX to that of a system like the PS2 or GCN. The PS2 represents the lowest value for the system itself, but you will find many games available to make up for that. It has the most games available (not counting PS one games). This is the PS2's strong point, and it does make the value for money higher than that of the XBOX. The XBOX represents the most powerful system on the market, but it also comes packaged with numerous defects in the system and games. Your return for playing games on the BOX is the real weak point. If I could get an XBOX, Halo, and Halo 2 for fifty dollars, I would. That's the entire value of the XBOX experience. You buy game systems to play games, and if you cannot get the value for you money returned on these games, there is no justification in investing $200 when you will never invest anything else into it. The Game Cube is only beaten by the XBOX in system strength, but it is also cheaper to buy the GCN than the XBOX. Then you factor in the games. Almost any sports game you can buy is on all three systems, and the GCN also has a very high return in the value of all other games, quite arguably better than that of the PS2. PS2 has the most, but most GCN games are the best.

There is a much better and more balanced evaluation of the three systems. I will admit to being a Nintedo fanboy, but I have evaluated my options.

Hello. How are you giantelectric person. Your Xbox review is basically you going on and on about nothing. You really didn't say anything good about the Xbox besides Halo was good. I will agree that Halo is good. .................GO NINTENDO!!!............sony is good too.

I dont get some of you people. Rambling on about Xbox being bad...Not having enough games, blah blah blah. Havent you wacked up people ever heard of Dead or Alive 3? Or Brute Force? I agree Halo is great. The Xbox is great as well! It added vibrant color and sound to my world too.

You mean one game that is so tight on ideas that it has to bring in MASTER CHIEF (who is completely out of place), and another game that nobody buys? Trust me on THAT one...

  • GiantElectric Rank: Major on 23rd Nov 2005

    :-O ... But you slate halo !!

heh, heh all you nintendo fanboys make me laugh, harping on about false economy, getting rid of your xboxes & lack of exclusive titles; yet what you do ? You go out and REPURCHASE the console ! Oh my.
