Powerful, responsive and a great looker
Somewhat pricey. Fuel economy at around 26mpg not great.
Not your typical Volvo! This Volvo V50 T5 2.5l Turbo SE Geartronic Estate is the third Volvo I've owned and I must admit to being pleasantly suprised by them all.
This is the largest one and the most powerful. The 2.5l turbocharged petrol engine is very responsive and the handling is there to match the 220 BHP it generates.
The interior styling has to be seen to be believed, especially the futuristic centre console. All the gadgets you'd expect are there too - heated seats, 6 CD stereo, PAS, alarm, central locking, etc, etc.
Overall, it is great as a family car or for a boy racer. What more can you ask for.
