Decent pricing and selection.
Will change prices mid-shipment and bill customers for the difference,
Unethical business practices,
Terrible customer service.
A Warning to potential customers:
I had made several purchases from www.dog.com because I found them to have a good selection at competitive prices. However, my most recent order included an item that was advertised at one price but when I received my shipment, I noticed that I was charged another. When I contacted "Customer Service", they essentially told me that the price I was charged was correct and that the advertised price was wrong. When I asked for a refund of the amount they refused, stating that "they have a statement on their website saying that they are not responsible for typographical errors". I can understand that errors in product description may occasionally occur, but price??? I should also mention that this statement immediately follows another statement that "all prices advertised on the website supercede any other advertised prices". Basically they're telling their customers that all advertised prices on the website are current and correct except if they're not, and then it's not their fault. A warning to potential customers - if you buy from dog.com, be aware that they may decide to change the price of their products mid-shipment and their customer service is terrible!
