No good points whatsoever.
Total lack of customer care.
Failure to make contact when promised.
Business banking staff unnavailable.
Increasing overdraft took them nearly a month to arrange.
Failure to listen.
General incompetence.
I am quite frankly appalled at the poor level of service offered by Lloyds TSB Business Banking. I've never communicated with such a bunch of incompetent individuals in all my life, from the central call centre to the business banking centre.
Last month I came to a crucial point in the development of my business and contacted Lloyds TSB business banking to arrange some essential finance. This was in the form of an extended overdraft.
As has been the case several times when trying to contact my business banking manager, I was told that she was in a meeting and was assured she would call back as soon as possible.
Nearly two weeks later and still no phone call, I telephoned to chase up the enquiry and was told that my business banking manager had been seconded onto another project. In reality she had gone on holiday. Why they felt the need to lie - I have no idea.
So at this point we were behind by 2 weeks on getting the finance arranged. After speaking to someone else we finally had the papers sent out to be signed. We signed the appropriate paperwork and sent it back.
3 Days later I telephoned to speak to my business banking manager who wasn't available (as usual) and spoke to someone else - I explained to them that I was waiting for the overdraft to be put in place and that because of their failure to get back to us previously, we needed this in place that day - I explained that this was an urgent requirement.
Surprise, surprise later that day I received a phone call at 3pm that the overdraft had been put in place and we could now start to use it.
Well, its now the day after and still no overdraft. I have totally lost confidence in the ability of Lloyds TSB to handle the even simplest tasks - let alone being there to help me develop my company.
I'm now waiting for a phone call with an explanation as to why this still hasn't been done. I'm taking bets on whether they will bother to get back to me.
Lloyds TSB have failed to pay attention to my business needs and to take my business seriously. I'm a small developing company and I have a very carefully structured and planned schedule for the next few months which will see my turnover double. I am about to launch a new advertising campaign which has been researched over several months. I have no confidence in Lloyds TSB's ability to provide me with the finance products I need in order to help at crucial points when my business needs to grow.
Take my advice, don't use Lloyds TSB for business banking, they really couldn't give a **** about your needs.
