Staff were polite and helpful and tried their best to keep this dilapidated hotel clean.
Bad Points
Shabby, needs complete refurbishment, poor food
General Comments
We were booked into Hilton Hotel by Kuoni. We found the hotel very disappointing. Specifically: Carpets in halls and corridors were ill-fitting, stained and ragged at the edges. Reception cushions were stained. Pool sun lounger mattresses were a disgrace, dirty, dilapidated and ill-fitting. Metal sun loungers were broken and rusty in many cases. There are many cracked tiles in the breakfast restaurant with dirty joints. The food quality was very poor when compared to other hotels that we stayed at in Egypt. We feel that the whole hotel urgently needs a complete and comprehensive refurbishment. Staying there really spoilt the middle of what otherwise was an enjoyable holiday in Egypt.
