Cheap and cheerful
Frequency of trips very good, upto every hour
Trips to most popular UK destinations
Faster than other bus services, doesn't stop at every little village.
Busses = slow.
The busses used seem to be old
Lots of breakdowns
Overcrowding
The megabus is super cheap in comparison to other forms of transportation, if booked in advance! Booking upto a month in advance can get you a ticket to london from 1.00 a seat + 50p booking, from scotland! The frequency of the busses are very good, with services almost every hour to most popular UK destinations and it's much quicker than the traditional bus services.
However, in comparison to other methods it is still slow. I have also expeirenced, and heard of, breakdowns in the service. The busses are usually heavily packed, but then the fares are cheap so it is expected.
