Final Fantasy 7 is a game that will never be matched. Because of its story line, sounds or music, character roles, mobility in the game, and a great replay value, incredible cinemas, and the materia magic, and last of all the graphics. All of these I listed are exquisite except the graphics. Yeah, I know the graphics aren't the best, but when you consider the time period the game was created in they aren't that bad.
Bad Points
There isn't much to say about some bad parts in the game, because there weren't many. Although, there is some things that could be made better to improve the game that much more. I'll start with the graphics. Like I said they aren't that bad, but they could be improved. There's not much more to include except for one more thing. I don't know how many people actually think about this, but it kind of bothers me. What I'm getting to is that I think the game should include the flashback of Zack in the Shinra Mansion Basement in the story line. It should be mandatory to see that flashback, because it is pretty important to help you out with comprehending the storyline.
General Comments
Final Fantasy 7 excels in everything that another game probably lacks. The storyline isn't like anything I have ever played. To put it simply it is superb. And the music, it just flows along with the story line perfectly. Every action that takes place in the game is structured with the greatest combination of sounds. The character roles are similar to the music. Each character is injected into the story at just the right time. They all have their own reasons for going. The replay value of this game is also pretty decent. Even when you beat it for the first time I don't think you would have been able to beat all of the weapons without cheating. So that is also a great reason to play it again. And there are other things you can also try to get that you most likely didn't get the first time. And any way it's to good of a game to not play it again as soon as you beat it for the first time. You might have to play it again to comprehend the story line a little better anyway. The cinemas are awesome. They are about the best cinemas for its time. And one thing I really like about it is the magic. It isn't hard to get it. You just buy it or find it. Most games they make it as hard a hell to get magic and when you do, you don't have much mp to use it often, or it is just weak magic. And it isn't just attack magic, you can get magic to improve your stats and everything. Overall I don't think that any game that may come in the future will ever equal the excellence that this game has. And when you think about how bad the games are getting as time progresses it probably won't ever happen (as far as story line or sound and music combinations). The graphics in future games may be outstanding, but I can guarantee that they won't have as many good qualities as Final Fantasy 7. It's getting harder and harder to create new ideas for games because most of them have already been used. It's one hell of a game that won't be beat. It is a legend and will always be one.
