Looks
Incredible Handling
Pure Power
Cheap Parts
Cheap to Buy
Easy Engine to Modify
Peugeot 205 Whats one of them?
Engine becomes tired at 130000
Not many bodykits/accesories on the market
Sunroof & Rear windows prone to breaking
What can I say about the Peugeot 309 Gti. If anyone can find a more powerful & better handling car for under £1000 then please let me know. I never knew it was possible to take a 90degree corner at 80mph!!!
Only let down really is that there aren't many modified body parts available which is why you rarely see highly modified 309s.
Very big arches so with a tiny bit of arch work, 17's and a 50mm drop are possible.
Bought a regular 1.3 309 2 years ago. It was lowered 110mm on gti alloys and fell in love straight away. Impossible to make it go sideways!!!
