Reasonably priced, good looking car.
Bad build quality overall
Got my Peugeot 206 1.4 LX in May 2002. Exhaust joint squeaked in June. Fixed it under warranty. Fan belt changed September, was squeaking. Display on dashboard went in December. Have changed gearbox twice now. On my 3rd gearbox, have driven cars 100,000 miles and over with no gear box problems. Pug 206 have a serious problem with them. Brakes have intermitant faults. Starting problems. Wishbone joints went at 20k miles!. Have managed to keep my brakes till 30k! Gearboxs go every 20-25k miles!. This car is awful and has probably cost me £4000 extra since I got it in May 2002. Its now only May 2005.
