Good Points

Loud enough to be noticed.

Got to be a he-man to cock it and lug it around, but it is an adult air rifle so stop complaining.


General Comments

Purchased this Beeman RX-2 .22 Air Rifle from straight shooters and it was the cheapest that I could reliably find for about 525.
Took a week to get here. Was deliverd in plastic gun case sorrounded by two boxes.

Unpakaged it and damn this gun is nice. It is a lot nicer then my BSA SS, RWS 24, and 34.
It has made in Germany on the end of the reciver and on the barrel part, there is THEOBEN "cool".
There are no visible nicks or dings.
The plastic sites are cheap but I will take them off and scope it. I already have the beeman 5036 one peice mount and now for the hardest part, to find a scope.

Now this gun is not for wimps and sissy man You got to be a freaking he-man to cock it and lug it around. The stock is very bulky but very nice. Hell I've been shooting BSA's and RRWS's for last 20 years so it will take time to get use to. Once I figure it out and get the feel then it wont be as bad. This is not a family gun for kids to shoot, its for the big daddies.

I have not got it broken in yet but the shots are going where I want them to go by using some cleaned CP pelletes. I hit dimes 10 yards with the crapy sights. I got about 200 shots, Im still reserching scopes and pellets to mount and use.

I was able to take out some little furries with no problem. This is a 177 so it does the job just as well.

This gun is very different from springers. It is as loud as my RWS 34 but it has no twang. It is enough to attract attention so watch for the neighbors.

I think this is a awsome gun with alot of potential. It has a gas ram and those aren't cheap. Yeah its heavy but it is a good thing as far accuracy is concerned.
