Good body shape
Solid slug, very hard hitting
A few bad fits
Crud in tin gets on your fingers
Here are my thoughts on the Crosman Accupell. I almost exclusively hunt rabbits with my airguns so need a hard hitting, consistent pellet which I can rely upon. I use a gasrammed Webley Tracker, an Air Arms Pro-Elite and a brand new Air Arms TX200HC, all in 0.22.
I must be honest and admit that I use Webley Lazadomes about 70% of the time but I use Accupells as well.
They are a domed slug, with a good thick skirt and a wide shiny circle of lead in behind the skirt. This gives off a good reflection when lamping and you can easliy track your pellet winging through the air. Accupells are pretty grubby but I think the crud in the tin is a lube. It would be good if the manufacturers could state this on their tins as people always complain about how grubby the pellets are.
Both my Air Arms rifles are happy spitting out the Accupells but I had a strange experience using them in my Webley Tracker. The Tracker has a flip up loading port. After putting a slug in I often check to ensure it is still there. I don't to fire at a rabbit if I haven't put a slug in.
Anyway, the Accupells would slide into the barrel after being loaded. I would flip open the loading port to see it empty. I kept thinking I was dropping the pellet as I dropped it into the loading port and it was falling on the ground so I would end up double loading the barrel. After figuring this out I realised that when I put the pellet in it slid a bit down the barrel so it was out of sight.
That was cool until I went to fire at a rabbit and the rifle made a horrid, dry fire style crack. The rabbit hopped away unhit. Either one of two things happened, the pellet was so loose in the barrel it fell out before I fired or it was in the barrel but too loose to grip the rifling and simply came out of the gun and shot of at an angle. Either way I wasn't impressed. I do not use Accupells in my Tracker anymore. It is worth checking your gun to see if they fit or not.
It may be because these slugs are so solid that people are having trouble squashing them into the barrels of their guns. I had the opposite problem with my Webley Tracker.
Still, reasonable pellet, if a little pricey.
