Good Points

Very Accurate.
Fantastic Trigger out of the box.
Great look and feels like the center fire pistol it is a copy of.

Bad Points

Tad expensive, especialy since there is now a clone "made by Marksman" that not far from being equal though at 1/4 the price.

General Comments

I had heard so many positive remarks about this Beeman P3 gun, that when I found it as a Beeman Scope/Pistol/case package at my local airgun shop, I could not pass it by. One of the best "out of the box" triggers out there. VERY accurate and consistant FPS when shot over the Chronograph. Not a hunter as it's power is for punching paper and cans out to 25 yards or so.

    The piston seal on my P3 began leaking after approximately 3000 pellets were put through the gun over a four month period. The turn around from Beeman was three weeks. Next time I will do it myself. Here is a link that will help you replace your own seal:

    I have no regrets purchasing this gun. It is a pure joy to shoot.

    is there a difference between the HW 40 or the Beeman p3? at pyramidair.com the beeman seems to be more metal and the hw 40 looks plastic, which i heard it is...can anyone tell me if there is any difference whatsoever...thanks

    YEP, the HW and the Beeman are exactly the same. ---And Vanmeter, I got the combo too! Is this gun crazy accurate with that 2x20 scope mounted right out the box or what!!?? I couldn't freakin believe it man. Never had ONE seal problem.
