General Comments

I haven't been to a Makro for about 10 years but as I saw it here I thought I'd have a little reminisce. There was never that many of them about so it was always a big family trip, strange the things that entertain you as a child. They sold cheaper things, I always used to buy toys and CD's while my parents would fill up on industrial sized pots of food for a fraction of what the other shops charged. I believe they were originally and maybe still designed for trade purchasing, you had to be a member but saved on the VAT. Is there a Makro in the Manchester area does anyone know and do you still have to be a member to shop there because I think another visit is long overdue.
