The Panasonic DVPR has brilliant playback quality and its freeview system provides a very good picture.
The set up was easy and effective.
Bad Points
Programme recording timer is unreliable and Panasonic say new software due in June - also having problems recording from the box to a VCR.
The information manual that accompanies the product is a good example of how not to produce a manual. I've found out more by trial and error. But the helpline is excellent and very frank about these teething problems.
General Comments
When the Panasonic TUCTH100 finally gets over its teething problems, it should be as good as it promised. But perhaps you should hold off until the new software is ready.
