Good Points

Easy to use
External screen
Large memory (always good for lots of photos / ringtones)
Clear large internal screen


Bad Points

The quality of the camera in artifical light
Ringtone volume
Inalbility to download games


General Comments

In general the NEC 525 isn't a bad phone if you're on a budget. The clear large internal screen is full of colour and the smaller external screen lets you see who's calling before you open the phone. But on the downside the volume of the phone when ringing isn't quite loud enough and the camera isn't very clear at all in artifical light, even though it was very good when taking photos outside.
The thing I was surprised about was the large memory it had, so far I've 49 photos and 27 ringtones that I've downloaded - not bad for a phone I paid £80 for.
So to summarise the 525 is a good phone for the money but like every phone it has it's downsides.
