Good Points
It looks great in Red or Black, has enough GO for a new or returning rider.

Bad Points
Not much in the way of Kudos in owning one of these

General Comments
Ok I have had this Yamaha XJ600N Motorcycle for about 3 months - most of it has been good weather and I have enjoyed the bike 100%. Its plenty quick for a new rider like me and has a little bit more style than the Honda Hornet or CB400 type bikes. Its stable in a straight line and is spirited in the twisty stuff. I have done about 600 miles and am still happy. Two up the bike lacks grunt (like most 600's) but is certainly comfy enough for my wife. It seems to return good MPG and as I say I am very happy with the overall package. It has a Scotoiler for the chain so hopfully that will remain in good condition. I have so far done nothing but check the bike before each ride.
