General Comments

This self titled first album of Good Charlotte was a good start off. The lyrics were decent but slightly immature. The guitar parts were good but could have been better. If I had heard only this album from Good Charlotte I wouldn't have been entirely impressed with the band. After listening to all the albums and hearing the growth I think the band gained some respect and their first album was accepted. Not to say that it was a failure. Good Charlotte pulled off some great songs such as "Little Things", "Seasons" and "Motivation Procalamation". It's an album worth having in the collection, but I would make sure you know what to expect before purchasing it.
