Very Accurate.
Good bluing.
Very nice stock and lots of safety features.
A little heavy.
Floating barrel clanks against pressure chamber.
My BSA Hornet is a 177-rifle length with a Swift 6-18x44 scope, B-square mounts and factory installed SAS moderator. This is my first PCP gun and I am very happy with it. It will put pellet on pellet at 25 to 30 yards. I have a BSA Lightning and shot some groups of three from 45 yards with both guns no scope elevation changes from my zero of 35 yards. The lightning had about a 1/2 inch drop with a 1 inch group and the Hornet had a 1 inch drop with a about 1/2 inch group. I use a FX hand pump to fill the gun, it can be a little tiring if the gun is empty but have been refilling after about 20-25 shots and its not to bad. I mainly shoot target and squirrel in the yard. This gun is deadly out to 40 yards and probably beyond but has not hunted at longer distances. Like I said above my main gripe is the floating barrel hitting the air chamber when the gun is moved quickly. The Hornet even though it had more of a drop at 45 yards, it penetrated deeper into the wood picket I was shooting. Both guns are very accurate with JSB exact Diablo's 177. I would recommend this gun to anyone in the market for a 177 PCP.
