Good Points

Looks very nice.
Easy to assemble.
Close to bottom of market price (would have been a nice budget option).
Nice magnetic pedal action.
Simple computer and has pulse rate facility.

Bad Points

Seat doesn't quite extend to proper height for exercise by someone of my height (around 6"2'), and probably a little bit smaller, and the resistance is not good.

General Comments

It is a shame that this Carl Lewis EM12 Cycle Home Exercise Bicycle does not have good resistance as it would be a very nice bicycle, with nice simple looks and a pleasant motion. But, for me, then, it doesn't work.

At full resistance, you are still moving very fast (and I am not fit at all).

A three minute workout is all you might acheive with this, unless you love very fast, hardly weighted exercise for a long time. If so, it can be possible for taller users to drill an extra couple of holes in the seat post! I have come across exercise bicycles with low resistance in gyms but I can't guess if they are ever used seriously repeatedly or remotely often. The marks here are from someone who does not take these very seriously. They seem, nearly, pointless to me (with the imagined exception of once in a blue moon, or twice).

I don't think that this item is a good idea if the exercise bicycle required is to be used often as the repetitions would probably allow injury and damage to joints to occur much more easily than if exercising at a slower pace.
